Hugh Hurst established Clifton Chiropractic Clinic in 1988 after graduating from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. His interests in chiropractic include treating babies and the very young as well as much older patients. He is one of less than 20 chiropractors in the country to hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Chiropractic and is a member of the specialist faculties of Craniopathy and Paediatrics in the College of Chiropractic.
With a special interest in spinal rehabilitation he established Bristol's first spinal rehabilitation gym for supervised exercise in 1998. He is a fellow of the Specialist Faculty of Chiropractic Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation and is currently reading for a Professional Doctorate in Chiropractic at Portsmouth University.
In 2006 Hugh was made a Fellow of the British Chiropractic Association in recognition of the work he has done for the Association. He is also the President of the Graduate Association of the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. He travels and lectures extensively in Britain and abroad, keeping abreast of current developments in the management of back and neck pain. He was made a Fellow of the European Academy of Chiropractic in the field of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in 2007.
