Hugh Hurst    Liam Rice    Leanne Massey    Deborah Chadwick    Charlotte Page

Upon graduating as a Physiotherapist in 2006, Charlotte worked in a London private practice where her passion for sport and fitness led her to study for a Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy. This resulted in her understanding that almost all illness or conditions with a degree of pain results in muscle tension, which in turn affects movement and posture.

Charlottes' elite sporting background includes being a member of the U18 Women's England Rugby Squad, University's Rowing Captain, County Tennis and Athletics. She has a huge understanding of the active client (being a mother of young children, a builder or a professional athlete) and how increased levels of physical and emotional stress in people's lives, increases levels of soft tissue dysfunction.

Sports massage induces both physiological and psychological response, improving muscle condition, reducing stiffness, pain and fatigue, increasing flexibility and movement range. While also reducing blood pressure, it can remove metabolic waste products and increase the rate of healing and tissue repair. Skin elasticity is improved along with exfoliation and stimulation of the reproductive layers of skin. Massage can affect mental state, either stimulating alertness, ready for activity or reducing anxiety, enhancing relaxation and providing feelings of well-being.
