May Lucken-Ardjomande Fern Maybee
May Lucken-Ardjomande studied Medicine at the Universities of Geneva and Bristol, obtaining a Diploma at the South West College of Oriental Medicine, and gained clinical experience at the Zeijang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
She then followed a number of specialised courses with the Bluepoppy Institute, the leader in Chinese Medical education in the US, to enrich her knowledge in a variety of important fields such as pain management, treating infertility with Chinese Medicine, gynaecology, dermatology and traumatology, mental-emotional disorders, anxiety and stress, depression, hypertension, insomnia and sleep disorders.
In addition she deepened her knowledge and use of Moxibustion, Japanese acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. May has also obtained a Diploma in Traditional Thai massage, permitting a wider and more holistic approach to treatment.
She has recently undertaken a PhD entitled: the treatment of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse with Chinese Medicine, obtaining very good clinical results which has subsequently seen her working in this field at The Priory.
